Yorkshire Terrier Puppies

Quality puppies, socialized and with great temperament

See Available Puppies

puppiesThe average litter is 2-4 pups. They are born black and tan and the coat color starts to change between 4-8 months of age. Occasionally the coat will stay dark and with a  woolly texture. The blue color in a silky texture is what breeders try to produce. The pups do not leave until they are 10-12 weeks of age and the really small ones will not leave until they are larger  as they take longer to mature. young puppies

The pups are vaccinated and de wormed to date before leaving. They are socialized and are paper trained and cuddled and have been pre spoiled. They bond easily to their new owners because they are spoiled here, but I am careful not to bond with them so they adapt more easily to new surroundings and  are ready for their forever home.

Occasionally a show-potential pup or a retired adult show dog is sold to a show home.

Jake

As I breed for quality and not quantity, pups are not always available, but the wait is usually not long.  The next litters are due the very end of April. If you are interested, please contact us.

Puppies are not just sold and the new owners abandoned. When I sell a pup I am available 24/7  for support regarding questions or concerns.

I feel it is important to keep in contact with new owners until your pup has settled down to the new routine and is happy.

Sara's Yorkies usually mature out between  4 to 5-1/2 lbs. Occasionally have the very tiny ones (see Peanut below) at 2-1/2 to 3 lbs. or slightly larger ones at 6 lbs.; however, the standard is up to 7 lbs. and I try to keep in that size range.

PeanutOccasionally Sara's Yorkies have purse-size yorkies for people who want a tiny dog that they can take everywhere. This little girl who is called "Peanut" is 2-1/2 lbs. full grown at one year and lives in her forever home in Vancouver, B.C. I do not specifically breed for the very tiny but I get them. Theses yorkies are extremely intelligent and lively but do love to be fussed over and they do require some attention. In spite of the size they are not yappy or nervous and are easy to take anywhere as they do love to snuggle into doggie purses.

These tinies are constant companions.
